Florentia Erjola Xheko grew up during a period of profound transition in Albania, a country redefining itself in the aftermath of communism’s fall. Opportunities were scarce, and the economy was fragile, but the resilience of the Albanian people ran deep. At just 23 years old, Erjola dared to enter the male-dominated world of construction and architecture, founding Aluflor in 2005. In an era when the idea of a woman leading in such a field was nearly unheard of, she embraced the challenge with determination and vision. Her goal was not simply to build structures but to transform an industry desperately in need of innovation and ambition.

Erjola’s journey was marked by significant obstacles, from limited resources to outdated infrastructure and entrenched systemic barriers. Yet she approached these challenges with entrepreneurial drive and creative ingenuity, blending European precision with Albanian resourcefulness. By introducing groundbreaking facade technologies and sustainable practices rarely seen in the region, she elevated construction from functional necessity to artistic expression. Her designs were more than structures; they were symbols of a new, aspirational Albania rising from its past. Today, her legacy extends far beyond the buildings she has shaped. As a trailblazer and advocate for women in business, she stands as a beacon of possibility, inspiring others to defy expectations and lead with purpose. Through her vision, Erjola has not only transformed Albania’s skyline but also empowered future generations to build a brighter future.

Chris Boyce - President of the Board

Chris Boyce is an accomplished technology entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in consumer loyalty, enterprise, and software sectors. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. In 2006, Boyce joined Virgin Pulse, a company within Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group that designs technology to promote healthy lifestyle habits among employees. Initially serving as Executive Vice President of Product, Marketing, and Business Development, he soon became CEO and a board member.

Under his leadership, Virgin Pulse developed market-leading, technology-based products aimed at enhancing workforce health, employee engagement, and corporate culture. Prior to his tenure at Virgin Pulse, Boyce co-founded Upromise, an online loyalty coalition and college savings account business with 13 million members. His role as Vice President of Business Development was instrumental in the company's growth. Throughout his career, Boyce has focused on creating businesses that drive positive behavioral change and deliver measurable value to both individuals and organizations.

Allan Rindlisbacher

Allan D. Rindlisbacher is a seasoned professional in business and economic development, with a career spanning over four decades. He served as the Director of Corporate Communications at Layton Construction Company for 22 years, where he managed the company's communications, public relations, and marketing initiatives.In 2019, Rindlisbacher joined the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) as the Director of Community Strategy. In this role, he collaborated with public and private sector partners to build the community strategy program, aiming to connect and empower Utah cities and counties in achieving their economic development goals. He was instrumental in launching initiatives like the Development Ready Communities (DRC) program, which provides training on key components of the economic development process in Utah.

Throughout his career, Rindlisbacher has been recognized for his contributions to economic development. He received the Nick Rose Leadership in Economic Development Award from EDCUtah for his exceptional dedication to the private sector. Additionally, Engineering News-Record (ENR) honored him with its prestigious Legacy Award for his career of service in design and construction. Rindlisbacher retired on July 15, 2022, concluding a distinguished career in business and economic development.

Rob Tietjen

Rob Tietjen is a faculty member in the Department of Management at Brigham Young University–Idaho (BYU–Idaho). He earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in speech and organizational communications from Idaho State University. Before joining BYU–Idaho in 2018, Tietjen held executive positions across various industries. At the university, he specializes in teaching entrepreneurial leadership, management, and strategy. Additionally, he serves as the faculty advisor for the campus Entrepreneur Society. 

Tietjen's teaching approach is well-regarded by students, who describe him as supportive, caring, and invested in their success. He emphasizes class participation and often incorporates group projects into his curriculum. Students appreciate his real-world experience and the practical insights he brings to his courses. Beyond his academic role, Tietjen actively promotes entrepreneurship among students. He has been involved in organizing pitch competitions, providing students with opportunities to present their business ideas to experienced judges and potential investors. These events aim to cultivate entrepreneurial skills and offer real-world business experiences.

Matt Wirthlin

Matthew T. Wirthlin is a partner at Holland & Hart LLP in Salt Lake City, Utah, specializing in real estate law with a focus on commercial development and land use. He represents a diverse range of commercial clients, assisting in negotiating and closing large-scale real estate transactions, including due diligence, purchasing, selling, leasing, and financing. In his business law practice, Wirthlin advises clients on organizational structure and the drafting and negotiation of corporate transaction documents. With over 18 years of industry experience, Wirthlin has been recognized in "The Best Lawyers in America®" for Land Use and Zoning Law (2016-2025) and Real Estate Law (2017-2025). He has also been named among the Utah Legal Elite by Utah Business Magazine from 2009-2011 and 2016-2022.

Wirthlin earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1998 and a B.A. from Brigham Young University in 1995. He is a member of the Utah Bar Association's Real Estate and Business Law Sections and the American Bar Association. His community involvement includes serving as past chairman and member of the Salt Lake City Planning Commission (2005-2014) and as a Salt Lake City Appeals Hearing Officer since 2014. Throughout his career, Wirthlin has worked on a variety of residential and commercial real estate projects, such as multi-family residential, mixed-use office and retail, shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, condominiums, and resort developments. He also represents clients in land use, zoning, boundary, and easement issues.
